I purchased the MotionPro Chain Breaker/Riveting Tool Set from the write-ups I read online.The kit comes complete with everything one needs to do the work, but I was not impressed with the function of the kit.First off, I had to break my 520 non o-ring chain on my motorcycle.That went well and I had the chain off the bike in 15 following the instructions.I then had to remove an additional two links from the chain for a new smaller sprocket I was installing when the breaker pin actually broke!I followed the same procedure and even backed off and re-applying pressure as recommended when the breaker pin snapped inside the link.Was charged $15 for a replacement pin from MotionPro!!!The riveting tool was not very impressive either.The flare tool for the link rivets doesn't put much of a flare end on them and now I worry they won't hold.Will need to press them with a flat hard surface to be sure.
Not a product the novice would feel comfortable with and the durablity is now in question.
