I have been running this part in my 5.0L Mustang for about 1 year now.So far no problems. It appears to be the exact same part that Ford put in the car. This in not a pretty unit. It's a bit ruff on the edges, and has heavy milling marks.I didn't care since no one will ever see it.
Just incase you're wondering, the small gear slides off the crankshaft without any tools, but you will to pull the harmonic balancer using a standard harmonic balancer puller. In addition a Napa gasket kit for the timing cover, waterpump, and thermostat. This job is a little advanced, so don't attempt it if you're not sure of your skills. It took me 2 weekends to replace this part, and everything but the engine needed to be removed from under the hood.
