Although the chain and lock are sturdy the keys seem to be made of extremely soft metal. Right out of the shipping container, I tried the lock with one of the keys and the key part broke off from the plastic stem that you put on a key chain. I did not force it. It broke off like butter. Thank goodness I was not on the trail. Kryptonite, are you listening? Quality control should not only apply to locks and chains! What Garbage in my own expensive lesson/opinion. .
