Only Ridgid makes a useful strap wrench.DON'T waste your money to buy a rubber-belted "strap wrench" for anything.I use it all the time to hold an axle shaft on a car in place while I turn the bolts out, or to hold the magneto on a lawn mower etc in place to turn the center bolt out.
The strap can be replaced.The strap lasts for quite a while before getting too stretched and worn out to use the wrench anymore.
